Contractor Cohorts

Contractor cohorts are an engagement model to be implemented in the network to help contractors build community, share best practices, identify resource needs, and develop leadership amongst themselves and gather and provide input to programs as needed.

Participate In Improving Programs Contractor Cohorts

These contractor and trade ally cohort peer groups may be organized by region, trade specialty (e.g., HVAC or weatherization), or other shared interests, and should be organically developed after program launch based on shared experiences and focused on needs and solutions.

A pilot cohort of 10 contractors will be enrolled into a beta test version of the program to refine tools and support systems. A total of 5-8 cohorts are expected to form during this first year, with Network Team Outreach Specialists facilitating and supporting formation in collaboration with National Grid Program Managers and contractors themselves. Cohorts will receive tailored support and may serve as testbeds for new resources, mentorship programs, or incentive models. Their feedback will be instrumental in shaping future outreach,  bridging silos and navigating policy/practice impacts.
